Brooklyn’s 1 Year Letter

Dear Brooklyn,

You are one!! How in the world did this year fly by so fast?! I feel like it was just the other day we were on our way to the hospital about to have you in the car haha. But I also feel like you’ve always been with us. Our family isn’t complete without you and we all love you so much!  We prayed for you for so long and having you is so special to us! We prayed for a little baby that felt like a baby (because your sissy always felt so grown up to us) and that’s exactly what we got! You are our petite, feisty, silly, independent, dancing, adorable, strong little girl!

My High School Graduation

Seeing all these posts about HS graduation makes me think back to when I finished high school. It was a much different picture but it was perfect!! For those that don’t know, I decided to do my junior and senior year of high school online because Avery was due in the middle of my junior year and I knew I wanted to always be with her. 7 Spring cleaning and organizing tips!

I am officially done with my spring cleaning/ organizing/ tackling project list month of April! Before the summer I always like to deep clean my house because it helps me be able to relax more with Avery but this year I decided to kick it up a notch! I felt like we had so much stuff in our house that we didn’t need and it was driving me crazy! Continue reading

How we discipline

Discipline and handling kids being disobedient is a hard topic to discuss. There are a million different ways to discipline and every kid is different so you have to adjust accordingly. Who knows maybe what we are doing now for Avery won’t quite work for Brooklyn and we might have to make some changes. Luckily Josh and I feel the same about disciplining. Continue reading

Busiest Time of Year For Sure!!

This season brings a lot of things! Fun traditions, great memories and busyness! With a preschooler and newborn the busy season just got busier! Lately I’ve felt like I can’t catch my breath. I’m constantly doing something from the minute I wake up to the minute I go to sleep 7 days a week. And even then I don’t accomplish everything I want to in a day. I’m trying to make the Christmas season fun and memorable for Avery all while I Continue reading

Dear Brooklyn

Dear Brooklyn Belle,
You have no clue how much you are loved already! Your daddy, mommy and big sister talk about you all the time and can’t wait to hold you! Your big sister Avery is insisting that she wants to do everything for you. She wants to change your diaper, burp you, feed you and play with you. She talks to my belly and kisses my belly all the time! Continue reading

2 months left!

I have a little less than 2 months until my due date! I’m feeling huge and ready! I love feeling Brooklyn wiggling around inside of me but I’m very ready for her to come out so I can cuddle her. My body has felt the changes of this pregnancy a lot more than my pregnancy with Avery. Since it’s my second baby I guess my body knew exactly what it needed to so it started a lot earlier. Even though my belly isn’t as huge as it was last time I’ve gained 21 pounds already. Continue reading
