Having a clean, peaceful, comforting home is very important to me! I want my family to feel safe and cozy in our home and be able to feel God’s love and peace throughout it. I truly feel like my calling from God is to be a wife, mother and homemaker because those are all things I’m passionate about. Now I’ve only been on my motherhood journey for 4 1/2 years so I’m not an expert by any means but if I can offer other moms ideas on running their homes more smoothly I feel like I should share! And hopefully some of you can offer tips to me as well! So here are a couple things I do to run our home smoothly: Continue reading
Category Archives: Organizing
Organizing is my passion and the way I relax. Sounds funny I know but it truly calms me! I will be sure to share the different things I do to organize and keep our house in order.
Growing up I wanted to be a mom and a teacher so homeschooling Avery is the best of both worlds! Avery does performing arts preschool 3 days a week for 3 hours each day and then we also do homeschooling throughout the week. It’s nothing major or time consuming it just gives Avery and I a chance to do something just the two of us while she learns more and more! Continue reading
7 Spring cleaning and organizing tips!
I am officially done with my spring cleaning/ organizing/ tackling project list month of April! Before the summer I always like to deep clean my house because it helps me be able to relax more with Avery but this year I decided to kick it up a notch! I felt like we had so much stuff in our house that we didn’t need and it was driving me crazy! Continue reading
How I manage my many jobs!
Budgeting as a family
Hello hello everyone! This is my first blog since Josh and I announced that we are pregnant with our second baby!! 🙂 We couldn’t be happier and Avery is so excited to soon have a little brother or sister! I am only 7 weeks but we got a little excited to tell people haha. With a new baby comes lots of costs! Even if we have another girl there will still be purchases to be made and everyone knows babies aren’t cheap. Continue reading
First Time Starting a Garden!

We finished everything for Avery’s 3rd birthday party this weekend so the next blog I do will be all about her party! 🙂 Anyways! A couple months ago I decided I wanted to do a garden for the first time this spring. Continue reading
Beauty Must Haves
Last week I showed you guys my new vanity and a look inside all the drawers so this week I thought I would share some of my beauty must haves. I am in no way a beauty expert but I love beauty products and finding things that really work for me and my skin. I have super sensitive skin so it’s nice to have products that work great and are easy on my skin. All these products might not work for you but it’s always fun to give some of them a try. My New Vanity!
I have wanted a spot to sit down and get ready at for as long as I can remember. Being able to sit down and have all my stuff in a specific spot makes getting ready actually enjoyable instead of just something I have to do. When picking out what I wanted for my vanity I know I wanted a cozy chair, lots of drawers and lots of white. So I got some inspiration and decided to do a table top and 2 drawers from IKEA and then I found my chair at a home store in our area. I love every part of my vanity so I thought it would be fun to show you guys what my vanity looks like and what things I have in all the drawers. So let’s get started! Continue reading
Craft Room/ Office Tour
Ok so we have 4 bedrooms in our house. Our room, Avery’s room, guest room, and Josh’s video game room/second guest room. Josh decided to move his TV and PlayStation to our room which is so much better because now I get to spend more time with him and we had an empty room that was begging for some creativity! 🙂 Continue reading
I thought I would write about our morning routine as a family that way you guys could get a better look into the Willis household. So here we go!
1. Wake up! I normally wake up at around 6:45 to get a few minutes to myself and read my bible before Avery gets up at 7 and then her and I head downstairs while we let Josh sleep. He normally works late so we let him sleep in a little bit. Continue reading
