Brooklyn’s Nursery Reveal!
We have finished Brooklyn’s nursery and I’m so excited! I’m 34 weeks along and it’s nice to have the major task done in case she comes earlier than expected. Avery didn’t have her own room until we moved to Tennessee so it was very exciting designing and making things for a nursery this time around. We decided to go with lavender, gray and white for her room because Avery’s room right across the hall is pink, gray and white. I love walking by and seeing two sweet little girl rooms all done up!

It’s a little bit of a cooler day today for us and it makes me so excited for fall! This year fall is even better because Brooklyn is due at the end of October. 2 months left!
I have a little less than 2 months until my due date! I’m feeling huge and ready! I love feeling Brooklyn wiggling around inside of me but I’m very ready for her to come out so I can cuddle her. My body has felt the changes of this pregnancy a lot more than my pregnancy with Avery. Since it’s my second baby I guess my body knew exactly what it needed to so it started a lot earlier. Preschool Corner Revealed!
Tomorrow is Avery’s first day of homeschool preschool and I’m so excited! I’m glad that she’s doing homeschool this year and next year because I don’t like being without her! She truly feels like one of my limbs so without her I go crazy! Last year I would do a little bit of learning time with her and mainly read lots but this is the first year that we have an actual curriculum, schedule and corner for school. Continue reading
2nd Trimester Recap!!
I am 28 weeks and officially in the third trimester! I feel like this pregnancy has flown by! (It’s probably because I’ve been go go go this whole time haha). Right now Brooklyn is the size of a coconut and I have gained 17.5 pounds so far. My belly isn’t tiny to me but often people think it’s small because she’s so low and my belly starts pushing out under my pants line where most people don’t see it. In both my pregnancies my weight has gone mostly to my sides and thighs unfortunately but I’ve learned to accept it and enjoy my pregnancy! Continue reading
How I manage my many jobs!
Being pregnant, raising and teaching a preschooler, being a good wife, working part time from home and managing a household is EXHAUSTING! I will never say my job is easy but it’s the best job in the whole world! I wear many different hats and the best way I make sure everyone is happy and that I get everything done is by being organized. I’m naturally a very organized person and when you are a mom being organized makes things go a lot smoother! I also ask for God’s grace whenever I am feeling overwhelmed and I just focus on the important things.
20 weeks!
I’m half way there! I know the first half goes by much quicker than the second because part of that time you don’t know your pregnant but we are that much closer to meeting our sweet girl! I had dreamed about being pregnant with our second baby and growing our family for awhile and now that’s it’s actually happening I couldn’t be happier! Continue reading
