It’s December!! The holidays are my favorite time of year for so many reasons. I am big into traditions and making Avery feel as special as possible. In October I made a fall bucket list and now it’s time for our family’s winter bucket list.
- Decorate House
- Make decorations (we made our own garland and centerpieces this year)
- Get Avery her special ornament this year
- Make a 2016 shutterfly book
- Pack away old toys before Christmas
- Do a neighborhood cookie off
- Do something nice for someone else
- Walk through lights along path by library
- Make a crock pot stew
- Finish Christmas shopping
- Watch Christmas movies (my favorite!!)
- Visit Santa (this year it was actually a success with Avery and Santa!)
- Do a game night
- Drive around and look at lights
- Make and decorate a gingerbread house
- Bake holiday treats
- Go on a holiday inspired date
- Make paper snowflakes
- Go ice skating
- Build a fort in our living room
- Kiss under the mistletoe 🙂
- Take Avery on a special date
- Sleep by the Christmas tree
- Do holiday crafts
- Make Avery’s Santa face hand-print
- Paint snow
- Play in snow
- Plan Christmas dinner
- Spend some one on one time with each other
- Go to Christmas eve service
- Enjoy Christmas!
And that’s our winter bucket list with the things we want to do this holiday season! I hope this gives you guys some ideas for fun things to do with your family. As Avery gets older holidays become more and more fun. I catch myself sometimes getting too busy to really enjoy things so my goal this month is to just take in and enjoy everything!! Happy Holidays!
Sounds like a good list
