I sing “Making Memories of Us” by Keith Urban a couple times a day to Avery. And it’s always the same part:
“And I’m gonna love you like nobody loves you, and I’ll earn your trust making memories of us”
I don’t know when I started singing this song to her but I love it and it’s perfect. I know that it’s about a couple but that verse I sing to Avery, I mean it with all my heart to her. I do love her more than I’ll ever be able to express and I want her to know that I’m going to always love her and try to love her like nobody else. And I do plan on always earning Avery’s trust. I want my daughter to trust me with her whole heart. I want to be the best mom and always be there for her. I strive every day to make sure I’m doing enough for my sweet sweet daughter. I want to make memories that she will always remember. I want her to remember how she felt in those memory making moments. I want Avery’s life to be the best possible life she could have. I know that no matter what happens in the whole world that I will always be there for her anytime anywhere, love her unconditionally, and want to always spend precious time with her. I always want to make memories with Avery and I want her to know how much I love her and how much she means to me. Avery sings this song with me and it’s such a sweet special moment. I know she loves me and loves spending time with me. And that right there means the world! I really can’t put in words what my daughter means to me but my song to Avery is my promise to her that I’m always right here loving her.
